5 Days Pakistan Gurdwara Yatra Tour Package

5 Days

Overview

The historical Gurdwaras in Pakistan hold significant importance in Sikhism, as the Sikh religion was founded in this region, specifically in what is now known as Punjab. The area, divided between India and Pakistan in 1947, was once a united land where key Sikh historical sites are located. One of the most important places is Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism. In the Punjab province, important Gurdwaras include Gurdwara Janam Asthan and Gurdwara Bal Lilah in Nankana Sahib, as well as Gurdwara Dehra Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Gurdwara Bhai Mani Singh in Lahore. Other notable sites are spread across districts like Gujranwala, Sialkot, and Sheikhupura, housing Gurdwaras such as Gurdwara Rori Sahib in Eminabad and Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Attock.

Beyond Punjab, significant Gurdwaras are found in other provinces of Pakistan. In Sindh, Gurdwara Pehli Patshahi and Gurdwara Sadhu Bela in Sukkur are among the key sites, while Karachi is home to several important Gurdwaras like Gurdwara Sri Guru Nanak Sat Sang Sabha. In Balochistan and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, there are historical Gurdwaras in Quetta and Peshawar, such as Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh. These Gurdwaras, scattered across Pakistan, are central to the Sikh community and form an integral part of their religious heritage and history.
